Hope we stay well away from Eze - hit and miss and palace is his level
Marmoush isnt a 10 - very good player and very good goal scorer but he aint a 10 from what we have seen so far

The club needs to realise and believe that wholeheartedly and actually go for the rebuild, not the idea of the rebuild. We f*** around this transfer summer, we will surely find out when we battling for top 4 end of next season!

Absolutely. If the finger doesn’t go out, we could well end up like the rags and spurs. We need to spend big, and get back where we belong.
 
We seem to be linked with an awful lot of players but until we confirm champions league status or not nothing will be settled. I wonder do we have a B list in case we end up in the Europa as we will have a fair bit less to spend.
 
@Dax777 We were talking about fullbacks earlier, and I think really just 1 fullback is needed... and perhaps blasphemously we could get away with none, here is my proposal:

With 1 fullback wide and 1 winger wide (Doku/Nunes or Nico O/Savio), is already 4 options for 2 spots.

Perhaps another fullback who can play both sides like Livramento (basically impossible imo) or Cambiasso.

Reserves: Fullback (can be foreign spot and it fits), Kovacic, Lewis, GK 3 (has to be homegrown), Echeverri and Reis (both U21 not counted to 25 man squad, same as Bah).

If I counted correctly, this is a 25 man squad with the correct foreign player alottment.

Homegrown: Nico O, Foden, Bobb, MGW, Ake, Lewis, GK 3

I've been wondering how it'd play out if we got all 3 targets. I like how you've done that.

Is there the required pace in that back 3, otherwise very nice
 
for the love of god can we please just sign a fullback, any fullback will do and if we cant sign a fullback just play one of the kids whos actual position is fullback.

I was thinking IF we get Wirtz and Reijnders,and that seems possible now, then we wouldn't go for or need MGW and would target homegrown for any fullbacks if Grealish and maybe Stones leave. Not the faintest idea which home grown full backs though.
 
Robinson x Livramento but the 2nd one is nearly impossible to get so I suspect MGW will still join no matter what since our whole CM could leave

Maybe but would still leave Rodri,Gonzalez, O'Reilly, Reijnders , Foden,Wirtz, Bobb,. Not sure we'd spen another £80mill on an 8th player.

Bobb is a winger though? He has nothing to do with the central positions? The Gonzalez transfer was sadly a waste and shouldn’t have happened but was needed for some time

He can play on the wing and has done, but will end up much more a 10.Gonzalez will prove to be an excellent buy.Will give Rodri lots of rest time and rotate as a double pivot and as an 8 too. Plus I missed out Echeverri on that list.
