I’ve come to the conclusion that this job is acc way more complicated and bigger than I thought. It’s likely going to take a miracle.

When we need
Gundo replacement
KDB replacement
Walker replacement
Ederson replacement
LB
Backup GK

Some of these positions have to be homegrown.
But most will be non homegrown.
Players like Akanji Ake Nunes will stay one more season then move on when Savio Khusonov get older and we would need another homegrown player.


UCL regards Savio, Khusonov, Echeverri etc all as non home grown. You have to have minimum 4 homegrown and locally trained players.

All we have when everyone is gone
Foden, Bobb, Ake, O’Riley, Lewis,
We acc have to sign MGW and one of our players to be signed should be homegrown to save us a lot of trouble.

Why do you talk as if you know more than the rest of us while repeating the same topics that have been discussed at length several times over for the past couple of months?
 
Based on our recent transfers, I have very little faith that we’re going to get the players we need to take us to the next level.

I know we’ll have two Peps, but I don’t think we’ll get two Cherkis
 
Think the squad make up will be something like :

Ederson/costa with new back up (depends on ederson) / and new 3rd gk (3 total)

Defenders
Livramento/ Dias/kusa ake/akanji o Reilly/ gvardiol/stones/ nunes (9 total)

Midfield
Gundogan, Rudolph, kovacic, nico, foden, Lewis, Rodri (7 total)

Wingers
Cherki (think he will be used at rw a lot), savinho, doku, Bobb (4 total)

Strikers
Haaland, marmoush (2 total)

Giving us a squad of 25 which I think fits with the numbers etc but it’s probably too big still for what pep wantstbh.

It does give us a lot of flexibility with many players capable of playing in numerous positions

Back up gk, kovacic , Gundo, nunes, nico g, doku, bobb, savinho, kusa
 
We should not waste foreign player spot on GK. We should get in Kasper, Trafford or at least english keeper. First choice should be Ederson or a replacement from overseas.
