homegrown and U21 players dont count to the 6. Half that list is fine

6 is only foreign loans.
We have the option still to loan to Pl and other English clubs..
The only problem that if it is not done early in the transfer window a PL team may already have used up their quota
 
The problem with this HG rule is that we are an English club and, it would seem that English players can be unreliable whether that’s injuries, personal lives or adaptability to our systems. Stones Walker Grealish and Phillips.

If we didn’t have to buy them I doubt we would and to make matters worse they come at a premium!

That said our National team is rated the most valuable in the world on transfermarkt.

The price for homegrown players is always a problem considering they are for the most part technically worse that european and south american players?
 
So we have an idea that Viana might be good at buying (we don’t know if he had help from Txiki) let’s see what he is like at selling/loaning!

That defeats the whole point of a DOF where the manager doesn’t make any difference to the players signed and the style of football.
It’s a least 2 years away same as when we signed Haaland it was 2 years ago, and Pep had 2 years on his contract. Players will be sgned because we want them nobody is waiting 2 years just in case we are looking for a new manager in 2027
Its obvious with the addition of a right back plus the other 9 signings since January we will have a young squad that will hopefully be together a fair few years.
 
Looking down the line, of those on tour, I see the contracts of Dias (30), Foden (27), Rodri (30), Ake (32), Akanji (31), all expire at the end of June 2027. The dates are their respective ages in June 2027. Be interesting to see how Viana handles those contract discussions in the coming months.

were aimed at Doku and Savio to get out there and practice more!
 
TBH i feel we're not gonna get most of the guys out this summer. All the players expected to leave are getting before a camera as soon as at the CWC and saying they arent going anywhere. They're on good money at a good team, and they have contracts so they wanna stay.

For example Stones knows no other big club will touch him with his injury record, nor will they pay him half of what he's on, and his england place is probably safe even if he spends a year on the bench at city.

Might just be bloated this year and the contracts expire next year

i do wanna say giving Gundo that plus 1 when he rejoined was absolutely diabolical from Txiki lol, absolutely shocking piece of malpractice.

Problem with that the numbers just don’t stack up. We need to lose 3 non hg players otherwise they won’t be registered.

Aside from Gundo I don’t see any obvious departures.
