I’d be happy to let Ake and Stones go and bring Bah and Reis back in. Dias would be marshalling youngsters but we need a refresh.

That would take up 2 foreign spots though mind, with Aké and Stones both being homegrown.

Not really, neither are regular starter so much now,especially Kovacic. Think Kovacic gets replaced with Nypan, Bernardo don't know but doubt he's replaced with a winger as he hardly plays there when he does play now.

Maybe, but to replace Kovacic in the squad he's not going to be relied on to play every week and time traing with Pep would be invaluable, especially if it's Peps last season next year.

Khusanov is positively blue let alone rare, but if Viana thinks the player has what it takes, then we should make room for them.

Think our squad is well planned for the future

Remember the complaints we failed in the transfer market after the Treble season. Well, we bought Doku, Gvardiol and Nunes that summer (2023). Currently, they are starters for a team competing for the title. We bought Kovacic as well. He wasn't a bad signing either.

Because of the improvements in Nunes, Nico G, NOR and Doku there is no need at all to panic buy . We can afford to wait until the right player is available. A nice luxury to have

Think our squad is well planned for the future

Looking at that, persevering with younger players is the way to go. Getting them good loans where they can progress is essential. The other side of the coin is not hanging on to players who are approaching the latter stages of their career.
We lost KDB, Gundogan, Akanji, Walker, Ederson, Grealish and it could be argued that we are 0laying better this season without them
Add in Stones, Kovacic and Ake who are seeing very little game time.
One will never know but had we hung onto Palmer Rogers, Lavia etc., they too might be playing.
Interesting to see how the current youngsters at the club and a few not mentioned like Khusanov and loanees Reis, Echeverri, Bah, Nypan etc. develop.

Steer clear of overpriced established players, and keep bringing in the very best young talent, irrespective of age. It’ll be much easier for younger players to assimilate and develop with this current squad.
