So basically an athletic guy like baleba. Haven’t seen Anderson play but starts look good. Wharton is left footed though which is importantly too to haveWharton is a good player but he’s not a very good dueller. We need someone that’s willing to get stuck in and with Nico adding progressive passes to his game we need someone that’s good in tight spaces. I haven’t seen much of Anderson but it seems like he fits the bill

That would necessitate extending Stones’ contract, and irrespective of how well he performs this season, I suspect we might not be tempted into that.
