I’d rather play Phil in the middle with Cherki right and Semenyo at left wing to see how we look with 2 players out wide who are comfortable with either foot.

He just hasn't gelled with the squad at all which to be fair hadn't gelled at all under Alonso consistently.

Partly due to him being non stop injured with muscular problems. Currently been out for 3 months and it still not healed.

He had a huge singing on bonus on top of big wages as well which sees him earn near £500k a week.

He isn't necessarily an injury prone player and he won't get that salary here. Most of that salary is his huge signing on bonus amortized.

I would take him, but I can see why a lot wouldn't.

He is still one of the most creative players in world football.

Alright mate. I’ll explain what I meant again: I said it agreeing that from his (and the team’s), hopeless performance, all we’ve seen from him this season has been hopeless.
I’m obviously not going to say he’s a useless player as I was a big fan of his at Wolves.
But, if you were to judge him off one performance, pretty useless, is what I meant.

I would definitely be interested in a loan with an option. Always felt we make a mistake never utilising the loan market like almost every other team does.
 
With the Embargo, which we all know too many games, too many injuries, he also has said the EDS don't have a competition, why oh why don't we give them the domestic cups and have a CL and Pl squad of 16_18 players move on the Lewis, Bobb, Savio etc

Yeah I don't get at all why we insist on playing almost full first team in matches like Exeter, while saying players are exhausted? Then give them a rest? Pep wants a small squad but then seems surprised when we suffer injuries like last season. It will happen next season as well unless something changes. If it was me i would play reserves and youth in league cup until the semis if we make it, if not then we don't.
 
I think one of our main issues, actually over the last few years, is that we are losing so many proven winners and experienced players and we aren’t really replacing that. I still think we’ve not replaced Walker, for example, and he’s been a massive miss.

The players we are bringing in look decent, but quite a few of them are from mid table sides or teams that haven’t won anything. Ghuei, Semenyo and linked with Anderson. Others like Doku, Nico, savinho and Khusanov similar.
