Madrid going all out for Rodri. Coming from a top source for Madrid in Ramon Alvarez.
I rather have him until the end of his contract than sell him, would still give us time to persuade him to stay too, plus another yer of Gonzalez improving. He’s getting back to being the best 6 around again, prefer another year of that ,if that’s all it is, than any fee.If he won’t commit then sell him!

Up to the club obviously but for me unless it’s silly money(60 mill ish plus) I’d say no. think thats what we were asking for Bernardo when there was talk.Depends on the fee offered mate?

If he wants to go then it’s a different discussion, if he is waiting to see what we can offer in the summer then again I ‘d rather spend the 60mill on keeping him for 3 or 4 years.I think we could easily get £60-70m for Rodri this summer mate if he wants to go
Jfelixdiaz who's good for Madrid news saying Madrid would rather sign Wharton or Smit. They appreciate Rodri but his ACL injury has not helped.
So, 2 'good' sources for Madrid contradicting each other. Glad that's cleared up thenMadrid going all out for Rodri. Coming from a top source for Madrid in Ramon Alvarez.

You mean like Wirtz and Isak ;)Football transfer world has gone mad though with fees? A £50m player is now priced at £80-90m so imagine the price of world class players?

apparently Atletico are monitoring Doku
Would rather keep Rodri and let him go for free then a fee, but yes not the unsellable after his injury
The concern for me is getting rid of both Bernardo and Rodri is the same window, thats a lot of experience and quality gone overnight
Pur best XI currently has both of those, and yes theyre both on the wane but they've been huge for us
I like Nico, I really like him but he isnt ready yet to replace Rodri and I love Anderson, but its asking a lot to be as reliable as Bernardo is
I wonder if Tonali could be available, 2 years left on his deal, no champions league and PSR corners, think Newcastle would be open to it
Think hes quality, and hes prem proven think he will get better with a better team (and manager)
Interesting to see how it plays out
Did I read that right? olise is performing at a higher level than mahrez ever did??
Olise is nowhere near prime Mahrez lol. You must have one short memory.
Olise is simply not as good as Mahrez, so we disagree there. He is talented, of course. We have a front line of Haaland, Foden, Cherki, Bobb, Savinho, and Doku. I am happy with that...very.
That’d be the treble winning Mahrez that won multiple PLs inc at Leicester. Won trophies galore as well as other achievements like being the first player in over 60 years to score a ht trick in an FA Cup semi final.
But no, you’re right.. Michael Olise, I see it now.
I think if we sign anyone this summer for the forward group, it should be Olise. Spent some time at City academy.Olise is nowhere near the levels that Mahrez achieved. Totally disrespectful
