The Squad planning thread

I might be wrong but I can see by the end of the window

Reijnders
Nico G
Gvardiol ( if Bayern make a good offer)
Marmoush
Rico lewis
Trafford (maybe)
Savinho

All going if offers come in.

So then we would need to replace Gvardiol, a new winger, a RB, goalkeeper and two midfielders?

Anyone who wants out, usual process of come with a acceptable bid, wouldn't want any players staying unhappy.

However with the greatest of respects to anyone sharing info, Gvardiol is on record saying he's happy and has everything he needs at City. And personally I'll believe that more than any chatter on a forum.

See how it pans out but I'd be surprised if he left.

That was a Pep and Txiki thing though?

Watching @twosips video with @BillyShears yesterday I think Ahsan hit the nail on the head with recruitment that we need two world class midfielders this summer as it’s the fundamental area we were weak in last season? If we want to get back to the top then we need to start signing players who would start for the world’s best teams?

What do you expect him to say to the world media?
He’s not going to come out and say I’ve just had a lovely maccies breakfast with Vinnie, he’s ready to put a bid in so I’ve already started packing my bags.

He’s a professional.

Given weve just paid Josko for 6 months for him to rehab and helped him get ready for the WC, hes a cheeky bastard.

As a matter of principle Id never sell anyone to Bayern either. Contract till 2028 - I wouldnt let him go anywhere; same with Rodri - Id rather he played it out like Bernardo if we cant agree a contract. He'll be 31 at the end of next season and this upcoming year likely his last one at his top level.
We sold them Sane, no? If they want to leave and the fee can be matched, let them go, because it works in players coming in our direction, too.

Big clubs around Europe will see two years of underachievement, Guardiola leaving, and a bigger squad (potentially less playing time) as ripe conditions for sowing disruption. Even if they have no intention of buying, seeds of doubt are free to cast.

Time the club started leaking its plan to bring Harry Kane back to England after the World Cup…

Looking for a young profile at right back if Lewis Hall is available he’s 21 and I thought he was a left back but he can play both sides. He’s done that for Newcastle.

That he's happy at City and has everything he needs. If that's how he feels. And he has. So I believe that.
