Zuri in Hazel Grove is £20 a ticket tonight, ha fucking ha. I don't go in normally but I was asked if I wanted to go tonight and pay for the pleasure, no chance.

My idea of Hell On Earth. Paying to get into Zuri's, hours waiting to get served, packed in like sardines.

Zuri, whats that, the new name for the Bamboo or a rival ?
I'm obviously out of touch!

Opposite the Rising Sun, an older crowd than the Bamboo and the majority oif them think they are something special and/or something they are not.

I think it is now 11 pubs/bars from the Rising Sun to the Phoenix (George & Dragon), a lot of pubs have shut down but a few smaller bars plus Spoons now.

Yeah, the Bamboo is, er, interesting.

I used to pretty much live in the Bull 10 or so years ago, I even spent a few NYE's in there.

Bollocks to you lot out enjoying yourselves... I've got to be up and ready to go by 8:00 tomorrow morning to drive to the match.

If I get cracking on the Drambuie and Cream Soda now, I should be able to drink myself stone cold sober by about 5:30.
