Did Labour kick off a fuss when rental housing benefits for the private housing sector were capped?
Should your name read 'Tim nice but dim' ?inbetween said:brass neck said:While I am no fan of Labour, at least some things they did were for the betterment of society as a whole.
This mob do nothing that doesnt help them or their kind and generally improve their lot.
This is a small insight into the way they work.
It's around the eviction of social housing tenants to make way for swanky flats that are going to be sold to the mega rich. Is a utter disgrace and weirdly you don't hear that much about it in the mainstream media! Can't think why. Thank God for YouTube

What have Labour done that benefited society, given people money for sitting on their arses? Created a society of degenerates who believe they have a right for everything to be done and paid for them? They also pumped in billions into an illegal war and was responsible for sending hundreds of our countries best to their deaths. I ask what can Labour do for any of us beyond the usual crap of so called standing up for the many. This is not true anyway, Labour cannot object to the cuts and they will HAVE to increase taxes to pay for every single promise they make. That is why they aren't making any promises because they quite simply cannot keep them!
Social housing is not a right of birth, the whole point of it is to provide a place to live whilst the tenants look to move on to better things. If they are knocking down social housing at the expense of moving people in with money and creating wealth in the area and for the country, what is the problem? People in social housing have to accept that simply being in the system means you are not entitled to that house, it isn't your house and the conditions are simple. If they don't like it then they can always get a proper house and pay for it like the rest of us !

Exactly. +1foxy said:So what?
All families were successfully rehoused by other London boroughs.
Notting Hill is a prestigious part of London. Why should hard working people have to pay in excess of £1,000k per week to live there and those in Social Housing don't....?

No no. It's you coming across as a nob.everythingchangesbutblue said:You really are coming across as an odious poster. I'm sure your a good person but ffs you basically just said its a good thing because the area millionaires live in will prosper because they are there. What about the areas where they are not? who gives a fuck eh as long as your "prestige" areas flurish.foxy said:brass neck said:So does that imply people on social housing don't work hard? Re phrase your questions...... Why should rich people not get everything they desire and why shouldn't the poor do exactly what they're fookin told! Rents are a 1000 quid plus a week cos tosser politicians of all sides are bent and have no desire to A stand up to the mega rich and B represent all members of society. The present government being the very worst of this attitude. Torys eh..... Just like Marmite..................fookin disgusting!!!
LOL nobody is telling those living in social housing what to do. I love it when socialists get wound up and paint an inaccurate picture of what's going on. The rich aren't a group, they are individuals with money. It's a childish analogy of baddies and goodies.
Like it or not council's budgets have been chopped and decisions need to be made to accommodate these changes to expenditure. Socialism doesn't generate income for t
he government without increased taxation. So to make sure taxes remain as they are and keep them down the government has decided to sell off the land to raise income. Fact, the area will probably prosper from millionaires moving in and spending their money (if they choose to actually live in the building).
Like it or not but London is our economic power house.

everythingchangesbutblue said:Yes, yes they we're and with land at a premium in that area there will be further "moves"for those less fortunate but hey, the well off need prestige homes. Anyone who thinks this is alright need to have a look at themselves. And as for the "get over it" shite, fuck that crap, thats just what twats say on the internet when something they don't mind happens.Ronnie the Rep said:everythingchangesbutblue said:It was a disgraceful comment but not unexpected these days as the demonising of the poor continues. Hopefully in the future the people of notting hill won't have their prestige ruined by those less fortunate.
FFS nobody is demonising the poor. They were moved, get over it
And stop with the inflammatory thread titles. Not all Tories are bad people
