Steady on, Vanishing Point and XTRMNTR are both very good albums. Whichever album had 'Country Girl' on it can get massively fucked though.

Honestly don't think there was a band that could touch them when they were at their peak. Ian Brown was a great front man. Squire was wonderful at layering guitar tracks. Mani's bass lines were extremely inventive. Reni is simply put, one of rock's great drummers. They signed a shitty contract and simply spent way you to much time in the studio. Very sad. Few bands get that good.
