A couple of decent songs and that's it. I honestly don't understand the cult following they have.

To be fair, it was a couple of great singles / b sides followed by a fantastic album, Fools Gold and one great song on the 2nd album (Ten Story Love Song)

The music aside, my opinion of TSR will be forever tarnished by Ian Brown behaving like a complete cock on live TV when the power went out.
He acted like a complete ****. I remember watching it live and feeling embarrassed.
It was somewhat ironic that he shouted "amateurs" considering his voice wasn't even worthy of a spot at the local karaoke venue.

Haha, what an utter fucking ****. He was secretly grateful of that power cut, because it spared his blushes from his dogshit vocals.

i actually think second coming is a pretty good album but its judged against the stella first album so was always going to be downgraded

songs like breaking into heaven and tears are great songs in my opinion, most of the madchester vibe had dissipated into a more rockier sound with more squire solos on it

maybe the change of style was too much and thats why its doesn't get the plaudits it could of got

i think you don't agree?

Go on 'don't stop' roses forum and there's a couple of interesting posts on there regarding the Glastonbury rumours..
If it is true then they must have some new material and an album to follow...
I for one am getting giddy about it, bear in mind when they had their conference for getting back together it only broke on the morning of it, and Michael eavis is supposed to be announcing the Sunday night headliners tomorrow....
Fingers crossed, they have unfinished business.
