Going tonight with the missus, got standing tickets and it's due to rain all evening :-( , going into town afterwards and would preferably go dry.
Are you still covered by the roof on the edge of the pitch or we going to have to find a dancing spot in the stands ?

The front few rows of seats usually get soaked when it rains (depending on the wind) so there's no chance of cover on the pitch.

Came up from Norwich for these gigs (going Wednesday and Friday)

We'll be in town for about half four tomorrow.

My Biggest worry is getting the last metro to Didsbury after the gigs!!

Get the 142 to didsbury, think it runs till the early hours and its only £1

just checked my ticket and it says unreserved seating level 1/ pitch standing. Anyone any idea where the unreserved seating is ?

I was told by a workmate who went to Coldplay that level 1 is unreserved seating so you can wander between the seats and the pitch. As its gonna piss it down get there early and find yourself seats at the back of levek 1 where you'll keep dry

I can understand some unreserved tickets but the entire tier doesn't make sense, there could be swathes of empty seats or a virtual empty pitch.
Just checked bbc weather and it's now indicating no rain, could change again in an hour or 3 though : http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/m11

All these refugees from the 90s with their floppy hair, polluting our lovely stadium. Shouldn't be allowed.
I was a long haired rocker in the 90's,now a green mohicaned mid life crisis 40 something, am I allowed ?

We basically allow enough tickets to fill the pitch up and fill 80% of tier 1 seats. We remove quite a few seats from the north stand and some in East and West Stands to allow for a quick evacuation if needed.

I worked both Coldplay gigs and the AC/DC gig and it was rammed, I would suggest getting there for 6.30 tonight if you want a decent seat, or even earlier at weekend if Coldplay was anything to go by

If anyone needs a cheap standing spare and can meet at the ground i've got you covered been let down off someone last minuite

Anyone know what you are allowed and not allowed to take into this gig?

Sorry just got out of hospital, a million things to do, thought I was gonna miss this [Friday gig not tonight]

Just heard Beautiful Thing, sounds good on first hearing.

Got a mate who's just text me from the ground. Loads of spares apparently, plenty for each night from touts around the ground. Selling standing tickets for tonight for £30 each, with one telling him he's got shed loads for the weekend and can't get rid. Looks like the touts are taking a big hit on this one. How do they get hold of so many?
