The Stone Roses/Ian Brown

I think his best albums were music from the spheres, solarized, and the world Is yours. The rest Is a mixed bag of good stuff and some not so good IMO.

Thought the World Is Yours was absolutely awful. Maybe I didn't give it enough time.

Brown's at Piccadilly Records on Friday think it's sold out though

@PinkFinal. I think Ian brown is one of those artists you need to listen to several times before you fully appreciate his work mate. That can be said about many artists that aren't mainstream though. The world Is yours does need some more airtime I think. Come, back after a dozen or so plays and give your opinion on it.

I've liked all his albums before and since but I remember really disliking TWIY. Very disappointing cos two of my musical heroes Steve Jones and Paul Cook are on it.

Is that the album you'd recommend starting with? Love the roses (first album) but honestly never listened to IB solo stuff
