That’s what I didn’t understand, the Lino doesn’t give it initially and he’s got a clear view, so can only assume he was told to flag which is bollocks.

Not really. Linesman are told these days, if it’s a subjective offside to inform the referee verbally that a player is in an off side position and then wait for the referee to tell him to either raise the flag or if he decides that there was no interference, to keep it down.

Looking at it again just now it seems like they were having a right old long chat about it before the referee finally decides it’s off side and he signals for off side and tells the linesman to stick is flag up at the same time.

And yes. I do remember that’s not what happened with Rashford in the derby the other year.

Don’t read x whatever you do full of clowns that don’t know the rules of the game and now that they have been corrected on the offside law they have resorted to saying it’s a foul on sa even though arsenal done the exact same thing to ederson
The Arsenal block against Ederson was far worse, hardly a murmur from the media shills then though.
Bernardo wasn't offside, didn't impede Sa or block his line of vision.
It was a perfectly legitimate goal and any bitter cry arsing from the usual wankers is sour grapes.
