All the former refs and VAR said it was a legitimate goal. I do feel Wolves played well and understand their frustration, but it was a goal.
Bernardo Silva is a legend. This little genius has managed to stoke a fire of jealousy so strong that the red idiots have completely lost the plot. From walking away in the middle of the guard of honor against Liverpool to coming off the bench and showing Garnacho who is the king in the Community Shield, he has managed to score some crackers in the big games to help City win multiple titles. Talk about a big game player!!
But his latest smallest action has proven to be a highly significant one in showcasing the state of our rivals mentality and current state of play. Such small time mentality of the so called "big clubs" of England. They have lost all sense of irony. They claim us to be cheats, yet they hope a perfectly legitimate goal should be ruled out just because a City player has scored it. I mean, talk about stupidity and idiocy!!
Bernie has just shown the world the true colors of the pathetic supporters of "English big clubs". I hope and pray that this uproar galvanize the boys and Pep a little bit more to sweep everything in their path to glory yet again!
AND ORDER BERNIEEE A STATUE RIGHT NOW!!!! WHAT A PLAYER!!
Jonny boy is a last minute man a last minute man
he clears the ball from last goal line
he scores for fun seconds in last minute
jonny boy is a last minute man
I watched the City highlights and the comments last night.MOTD2 showed how long it took for the flag to go up. It was about 25 seconds after the goal had gone in.
MOTD 2 analysis: Theo Walcott on Manchester City winner against Wolves
Watch Match of the Day 2 pundits Danny Murphy, Rafa Benitez and Theo Walcott question whether the Wolves players should have protested more quickly against John Stones' contested late winner for Manchester City.www.bbc.co.uk
I don’t remember an inquest when their player scored a winner against us minutes after getting away with a second yellow for kicking out at our place.
Yes but even though Bernie was behind the Wolves defensive line when the corner was took, he still wasn't offside, he was played onside by Phil taking the corner, when Stones made contact with the ball, the linesman should know that and he cocked up.He flagged him as offside when stones headed it, as he's in an offside position.
What he didn't account for/couldn't see is that he wasn't interfering with play.
It feels very wrong. Surely if the linesman isn't sure, they leave the flag down and then leave it VAR to correct. Surely you cant have someone else telling them to put the flag up.It’s only after O’Neil tells the 4th official that it’s offside. He then speaks whilst holding his earpiece and then the flag goes up.
We’d have to hear the audio to be sure though.
Did we moan that much after the Arsenal goal where 2 players definitely blooked Eddie off and man handled him. I can't remember that much moaning and that was far worse.I think it's a goal but let's be honest, loads of people on here would be complaining if it was given against us.
I know he was onside when it was taken. He was flagged offside for the header.Yes but even though Bernie was behind the Wolves defensive line when the corner was took, he still wasn't offside, he was played onside by Phil taking the corner, when Stones made contact with the ball, the linesman should know that and he cocked up.
