The Stones Goal

Was it right to give a goal?

So apparently according to the media, wolves deserved a well earned draw only to be robbed at the end, well 22% possession,1 corner,3 shots,2 on target, give me a fukin break
It's on a Par with the wankest for the Arsenaa game a few weeks ago. Every outlet saying what a magnificent defensive display it was from them in the 2nd half.
Just for the record they conceded 2 goals, one with 11 men and one with 10 men.
The media cannot praise us one iota.

BBC have a poll on whether the goal should have stood, surprise surprise 70% say it shouldn’t (I bet 90% of the voters are scousers)

I love it when we cause this much pain. It wasn't the (supposed) foul, it wasn't that it might be offside, it was because it was last minute and it was City. The mental gymnastics has been embarrassing, even from the likes of Henry (Uphisownfurcoatwearingarse) Winter

That goal must have destroyed them. Loving it!

Stop thinking about the poison guys, its their pain that is showing.
I don’t remember an inquest when their player scored a winner against us minutes after getting away with a second yellow for kicking out at our place.

Tim Howard also said it was a goal and as a keeper you couldn’t call a foul for the contact between Silva and Sa.
He was quite definite about it.
As per the normal rules of engagement the majority are desperate for us to fail to win, even if it requires the parking of any logical thinking.

Compare the coverage of this goal to the two man NFL-style blocking from Arsenal players, only makes sense in the context of them wanting us to fail.

if that was a foul, then what happened to Ederson against Arsenal was a mass mugging. Both Robbie Mustoe and Rebecca Lowe tried to refute Howard but neither knew the rule that you cant be offside from a corner. I remember the same debate last year when Stones scored at Anfield off KDB's sneaky corner. Funny that those "mistakes" never happen when it is scousers or scum.
Eddie was held down and sat on by four Arsenal players but that was brilliant tactics from them. It’s something they do regularly by the way. Not just against us.

I think yesterday’s was a definite penalty for the keeper pushing Bernie in the back. But I’d let them off and just accept the goal.

Also he pinched silva on his cheek . Straight red card .

Just re-watched it and noticed that both commentators were still unaware that the referee had ruled it out on the field, even after the game had finished.

You can actually hear the point the linesman raises his flag, when all the Wolves fans start cheering. You can then see the City players attitude change from celebration to confronting the referee.

Yet five minutes later, these two are both still banging on about the referee ignoring the VARs recommendation to rule it out.

I’m genuinely wondering whether they were even at the game, or were commentating from a TV studio somewhere?

MOTD2 showed how long it took for the flag to go up. It was about 25 seconds after the goal had gone in.
