Obviously Barca have signed a world class star, but they've been mugs in letting Eto'o go while they're at it. On the other hand, I don't think Inter would have sold for 60m, but Eto'o and 40m is a more reasonable selling tool. Ibra will provide world class football for at least 5 more years, he's 2 years younger than Eto'o but his game isn't dependant on pace like Eto'o's is. While Ibra may lose his pace in 3 years time, his talent won't deteriorate and in a way age could help him progress, more maturity and experience, clinical finishing and positioning will improve and has improved drastically over the last two years alone, so the signs are that Ibrahimovic is a striker on the up, if that is even possible. Eto'o however, will realistically be in decline and in 2 years time I expect Balotelli to be the better striker of the two tbh, so really Eto'o is a stop gap until Balotelli can step into his shoes, even though personally I'd have Balotelli in the starting line up anyway.
People can say what they like about Ibra but I've watched the guy for years now and not just in the CL, he's an incredible player, the most talented striker I've seen since Henry. A few years ago his finishing wasn't that of a top 3 striker in the world, he'd try to be too extravagant and lacked movement into the box, these days his finishing really is that of a top 3 striker, it's as clinical as anybody on the circuit these days and I can promise you that when all you La Liga merchants start watching him in La Liga you'll be furiously masterbating over him and I'll be the one laughing at your naivity in doubting him. Trust me, Ibrahimovic is a lot more than some skills and a fancy flick here and there, he's one of the most powerful CF's in world football, one of the best finishers, holds the ball up better than any striker, his creatvity is equal to the likes of a top playmaker, and his first touch is to die for. I am right about this, he is clearly one of the best strikers in the world to me, and it's only a matter of time before you're all hopping on the bandwagon.
