Not sure why people can't see what's happening at City. The reason Pellegrini won't get a contract extension is because he'll leave in 2 years, possibly to retire, and Patrick Vieira will become our manager. Just like Barca with Guardiola.
Nailed on, Pellers will be back in Chile in 2 years with his feet up and it will be well deserved, legend already

Pretty boring this morning I thought...highlight for me was checking to see if they were going to make any inroads into the 20 gallons of orange juice. Also, it seems pretty clear they don't like croissants.

We need to sell Pellegrini whilst we can get £30m, not let him wind his contract down

Don't blame them, croissants are vastly overrated much like puff pastry

Not sure it's quite as nailed on as that. There is every chance after him we would be looking at Pep himself. Whoever managers our EDS will be well placed to succeed the main man in future no doubt, but the system is very much in it's infancy. No guarantees that Patrick is considered the right man when Pellegrini's tenure is up. Could certainly make that job pretty hot property in the coming years though.

I agree, Pep's the man next and Paddy will be moved up to assistant with a view to succeeding him.

Re: Sunday Supplement 14/15 Thread

With Utd I can never understand why the so called journalists don't discuss why they are only too eager to inflate the market for average players like Fellaini Shaw Herrera etc but are unwilling to pay the going rate for the real quality players out there who have been in plentiful supply for the top premier league teams for a few years now.
Wouldn't pay Hazards agent the £2m fees but quite happy to pay a couple of million on top of the release clause to bring Fellaini in
An odd club

Andy Dunne ''I think we all overhyped Van Gall''
I could have fuckin told you that Dunny lad
They are all shell shocked they actually thought Van Gall was the second coming
Dunne tweeted once after kagawa had played 2 games for them "kagawa should be bracketed with Xavi and Iniesta" !!

I remind him of this whenever he gets giddy

God no, square pegs, round holes, he'll have Clichy as a number 9, kun at centre half and Silva and Lopes in holding midfield. We'll hire whoever is best suited to the job needing to be done at the time, all this talk of anointed successors is shite.
MP would be offered an extension as well I'm sure if he continued to have the team performing at the required level and was interested.
