Custis was sticking up for us before, said very complimentary things about our club, even went as far as saying the rags are evil and that he couldn't believe that they've not been done by ffp...
Was very surprised how nice they was, I was expecting a proper slagging off.

Custis like Robbie Savage did a 180 degree turn with Mancini's departure.

I must admit I had to rewind it to check I heard correctly.
He's never usually that nice about us but what he said is true, it can't be brushed under the carpet and yeah they got their digs in but I think we got off lightly there, I thought it'd be wall to wall rag wankfest...

Shocked to hear Custis say he thought FFP has been brought in specifically to stop City (and not just any club). He even said David Gill being behind it whilst at the helm at United was at the root cause.

He also said we should be applauded for what we've done with the academy and the regeneration of east Manchester and should certainly not have been fined.

And he said United have spent more than City over the past 3 seasons.

Couldn't believe my ears tbh.

Custis' problem is not with the club (he likes us really) but the regime at the moment.

To be honest credit where its due. They normally hammer us for any small thing but i sense it changing for the better! Hit the nail on the head with most points, besides ffp! ;-)

Yes said some nice things about the Academy but couldn't resist the usual dig about ageing players and Aguero not scoring in 6 games,mans a fat prick!

Yes he is wrong,Italy won the World Cup with ageing players must be awful to be classed as old at 29!

Didn't watch it but it's certainly interesting the way FFP is being spoken about now, including by that twat Rumenigge when discussing the Italian clubs.

Seems to me that it's being widely accepted now that it was nothing more than a rule to fuck us over and that now they have managed to slow us down for a few years they realise that it's probably a\ rule that needs changing.

Wankers, the lot of them.

Dearie me....I must have been watching a different Sunday Supplement than everybody else today. The one I watched had that brainless fat geordie clown spending 10 minutes shoehorning a dozen references to Mancini and how it all went wrong when he left ( whilst completely ignoring the fact that we won two trophies last year ).
