Do we continue to boo the CL anthem? Just a thought.....
Agreed mate, I cant stand him, but he's based in the US and used his platform to absolutely rip in to the owners, which include prominent Americans on a show where most viewers won't have cared less. So credit where it is due, on this if nothing else.Corden is a fat unfunny **** but fair play to him for his monologue to the SL owners.
Only room for one Glasgow side in the new ESL, they will have to decide which one.
That'll be quiet week in
Lets all hope this clusterfuck and all the changes on their board mean the UCL has a newer and more acceptable format in 2024.It’s been a great night, but lest we forget that UEFA have just passed plans for the Champions League that are only marginally less shit than the ESL concept. We’ve averted a catastrophe, thank god, but football is still inherently a bit fucked.
No doubt they'll want a piece of 4bn, They are totally fucked up their eyeballs in debt.Barcelona just announced they are still committed to the SL, twatter account with 2m followers confirmed this.
Rather it's Chelsea than United or Liverpool tbh. Im just glad its donePrecisely. That's how it's being spun. There won't be a forensic investigation into the timeline.
Chelsea quit the rest shit.
although at the end of the movie they are all lined up and shot.......with only the American getting away!We should play "The Great Escape".

Seems a very over the top thing to say considering we will forever be part of the ‘dirty dozen’. We saved face, not football. It was the right decision to leave of course but it doesn’t make those at the club heroes. We need to know why we were there in the first place. Maybe they’ll never tell us.Good article and that last sentence is lovely
"And Manchester City will genuinely be able to say that they were the ones who helped save English football."
