I actually like the proposed format, it would be far more exciting that the currency and proposed cl format. I also quite like the idea of cutting UEFA right out of things.

If this super League was not a closed shop and if the participating clubs had to give a very large amount of their earnings from the league, to clubs in the English pyramid, then I would be all for something like this.

Unfortunately, the big clubs want all the candy for themselves and that's why I could never support the current proposals.

I think the delay in the announcement is due to the American owners who have missed out, a spokesman for Burnley Fc has just demanded their inclusion

This isn’t a new development. The whole issue is that it’s a closed shop. What value do the leagues have if nothing is riding on it.

The entire football season is geared towards the Champions League qualification.

Not sure i could stomach Pep treating every league game like an FA Cup Semi Final :-)

Everyone at City will lose my respect if this materialises that we are working with Perez, the Glazers, Henry, and Kroenke to get this going and that it could/will fucking ruin domestic football.

They’ll also go down in my estimations in their sanity if they are so naïve that they think Perez, the Glazers, Henry, and Kroenke want City involved with them to the end.

If we are involved I will be deeply ashamed of the club and tbh I doubt I’ll renew my ST. Disgraceful proposal I always believed our club had more integrity. Rather be shit again than associated with this
