Maybe because only 3 countries are involved at the moment, so it not all that European yet! Maybe a non-European team or two to be invited (though I can't think of any that would be likely)?

Will continuing to attend premier league games be supporting the super league or is it all or nothing?

I'd have no problem if the format was the leagues but it wasn't automatic entry for the founding clubs.

PSG's owners own Bein Sports who are commercially embedded with UEFA via the Champs League. Al Khelaifi runs PSG and is one of key UEFA crooks. They also have to think about Fifa and the Qatar World Cup. Their position is driven by commercial reality.
