I’m trying to avoid the knee jerk reaction, but current thoughts are that’s me done. 40 years a season ticket and it feels like a marriage that’s over, the club has changed, we’ve grown apart and I don’t like where they’re going.
That statement on club website is sickening. My club using quotes from the likes of Agnelli, Perez, and Joel fucking Glazer in an official statement hurts me and tells me all I need to know. These bastards wanted us out, they sought to ban us and they fed lies to the media about us. We literally had to go court to clear our name, and then we just climb into bed with them?
No,I don’t think I can get over that. This is not City any more and I’m absolutely gutted.

surely. Fans won’t bother. They can’t have a packed Stadium for PL say for Man City v Everton , and then less than half a stadium for Man City v Madrid.

I won't bother. I'm done with it. I feel sickened. The club are probably not bothered anyway as they can replace us with subscribers from China. If people in the UK stop going the next step will be them moving the teams abroad probably as it's more financially viable.

I went to bed thinking I hate everything about this.

I‘ve woken up, had a think, and I hate it even more.

One thing that seems to have changed though is that however bad things got I would always be City first and Football second. I don’t want to get all moral and say I’ll start supporting City FC in the eighth tier but now it’s football first and City second.

We can’t support this. Only 5 out of 20 clubs qualifying through merit.

If we win it it means nothing.

Where on earth do they envisage getting match officials from?

probably the red tops will arrange for gridiron officials to run games, throwing handkerchiefs on the pitch for offsides, corners and throw ins.

These 12 clubs (maybe 15) vs everyone else in the football world and many politicians outside of football...

Obviously these 12 (or 15) are powerful, but I don't think they're THAT powerful. I think this will be stopped.

UEFA will probably negotiate a Champions League reform to put an end to it and placate the clubs.

If the end result of this is that the UCL is less Spurs vs Maribor and more Bayern vs PSG then I won't complain.

I never want City to get relegated again, but I'd rather see us relegated five times over than see us in a competition where we can't be.

The same people who’ve killed off football with over saturation with TV, are now worried, as they’ll be stuck with the UCL.

from what they’ve come out and said at least it’s not a direct replacement for being in the league and just means these teams won’t go in for the UCL.

Yes I have seen what the FA have said.

Tbh after looking at it today, this could open up more opportunities for other teams in these leagues to go into the UCL.

But that’s IF this super league happens.
