This is just desperate fan fiction. The FA has no power over the Premier League and frankly from previous conflicts like project breakaway, there's nothing more likely to get PL teams to vote against something than the FA trying to force them to vote for something.

I have complained to the BBC about inaccurate reporting. I complained to the Times about that cheating ping pong player, and about Henry Winter saying erroneously that we had delayed the UEFA hearing to get the charges out of time. I did these because City is my club, not yours Khaldoon.
Time to repay our loyalty and tell the yankee carpetbaggers to fuck off.

Once we enter this super duper cup what are the odds one of the first rules they cook up will be clubs involved can’t own clubs in other countries. These rats are out to destroy us or at the very least keep us at a very long arms length! I still can’t get my head around us signing up. These fuckers will stop us threatening them guaranteed
 
UEFA can fuck off. Theyve been feeding this monster for years and now theyre complaining when it bites them

ive no sympathy for those corrupt cunts at all. If this new league wasnt a closed shop it wouldnt be too bad, its much better then the CL revamp.

its the domestic leagues i cry for.
 
Any thoughts that we wanted to ensure that IF this thing got off the ground, we would not be omitted, and, more likely, just wanted a seat at the Big Table when UEFA sits down to discuss this potential breakaway in the day, weeks and months ahead?

This didn’t come out of thin air, and UEFA appear to have been constantly tinkering with their premiere asset against the wishes of the so-called top clubs (even though they run the damn organization?!), so maybe this, along with the outcry, will be the impetus needed for all sides to sit down and discuss the future?
