It would have made it slightly more palatable if there had been some club specific comments from Khaldoon on the statement last night, instead of hiding behind quotes from Perez and Glazier. Shows who the drivers of this are. Think we are just along for the ride for fear of missing out, but that possibly makes it worse for me.

I've got no interest in playing the same European teams week in, week out, year in year out without any kind of jeopardy. It's basically glorified friendlies. We will be kicking off at 11am on a weds morning or something to satisfy far east prime time audiences.

I absolutely love English football. Its unique. The pyramid structure, the competition, the crazy stories of Wimbledon, Leicester, our fall and rise, absolutely despising United for ruining my Childhood. Its all part of the story and what makes it so great.

The timing is also pathetic. People just starting to look forward to getting back to stadiums and some normality after over a year of heartache and then this. Absolutely disgusting

Perez claiming all clubs signed the contracts last Saturday.
Football as we know it is dead.

“The contract of the SL is binding. Nobody can leave, we will work all together. All the clubs signed the contracts last Saturday”.

From Bloomberg:
“UEFA are in discussions with Centricus Asset Management over a €6B($7.2B) financing package to overhaul its flagship soccer tournament and stop plans for a new breakaway Super League, according to people familiar with the matter”.

Well there is one thing for certain.....
If the club do have staff who monitor the forums/ press then they`ll know for sure that we are totally pissed off and that all this shit won`t have us all running to the city store to buy Super League t-shirts, car stickers and PJ`s for the other halves!

If the players knew what the owners were going to do and all the billions involved KDB would have waited and held out for a LOT more!
Seriously I can only imagine Pep and the staff and players will be well pissed off!
I think Kdb wouldn’t have signed his contract , and nor would’ve Pep, if they knew we were to sign up to this shitty closed shop. Kev wants to play in the Premier league and the Champions league and he also wants to represent his country at the World Cup. This deal throws all that into doubt. I believe that players and some managers, hopefully Pep, will make their clubs think twice. This will be unbelievably unpopular with a lot of players. Our owners might be already having second thoughts seeing the backlash already, let‘s hope .

2bn higher than the current SL.

C'mon City, this is so shit ... we all can see it, what more do you need to hear from that Real Madrid bastard ... it tells you all, it's all about Madrid, and the two red shite clubs in England ...

LEAVE ... NOW ... BACKTRACK ... PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Yeah like centricus can pull this off ffs - will need some serious weight behind them to do that level of financing

But I know a man that could............
