My 5x great grandad is John Kay, inventor of the flying shuttle.
At uni I snogged Precious Chong, daughter of Tommy and half sister of Rae Dawn; I also snogged Tamsin Grieg.
Harry Hill proposed to one of my best mates. She turned him down.
I served Vinnie Jones in Leeds HMV; and Michael Hutchence at Oxford Circus HMV
Used to drink and occasionally go to watch football with Doug Cheeseman (one of the founders of When Saturday Comes) and Boyd Hilton (who later became editor of Heat magazine)
Shared an office with and was good mates with Andy Burnham

Met Bill Clinton for a few seconds at a rally for Obama ( did not hang around he had his eye on my mrs )
Not me but my brother was a waiter at the Golden Garter ..... who remembers that place ? and met Olivia Newton John ....he took a drink to her room ..... :)
