This International break has done me the world of good. The Palace result and negativity creeping in was getting a bit over the top.
Its about time I try to change Tact supporting the blues for this run in. I hated the last race with Liverpool in 18/19 until we actually won it of course. I'm just going to somehow try and embrace this (Isn't this what football's about) even if we fall short the journey has been fantastic again. Pep's not going to last forever, lets just cherish what we have in front of us. How many opposition fans would love to be in our position. I'm really looking forward for this finale to the season (although my bank balance won't). I'm going to try and take a step back from Social Media, especially if we have a negative result, just going to ignore the negativity that spills our way from Jealous fans and journalists and not get into any pointless spats which lead nowhere, so its best to detach myself from the whining people trying to decimate our club and have fun watching the game with fellow blues.
Time to strap myself and enjoy the ride. If we fail to win any trophies so be it, it still has been a great ride and we reset and start again (Hopefully with Haaland leading the line ;). I have faith though, lets see where it gets us. Up the blues!!

Oh and I believe 93 points would be enough assuming we don't get beat in the game against them. 2 draws and the rest wins . Easily said than done!
Me too on the break being good. I'd be shocked if we don't win a trophy, but even if the worst happens it's been nice to get back in stadiums and we'll almost certainly one next season. Lots of big games and big goals and big moments to come, enjoy it for what it is, don't think there are many clubs in Europe wouldn't bite your hand off for where we currently are.

If we can smash Atletico by four on Tuesday it could have a huge bearing on the game against dippers.

Liverpool will be out of sight against Benfica next week I suspect.
The so called easy games coming up for the dippers may actually work to our advantage should they edge towards overconfidence.
Not sure the result on Tuesday will make much difference to the first dippers game it might ultimately in the second match. Probably the biggest 2 weeks we have ever had nothing will be won at the end of it but a lot could be lost.

Would love nothing more than to be proved wrong but it feels that Atleti rarely if ever get a hammering. Everything about them is set up to keep games as tight as possible.
I’m confident we’ll have too much for them over two legs but I’m not expecting anything more convincing than a couple of tight victories as a best case scenario and every chance it won’t be as straightforward as that.

Atléti have only ever conceded 3 goals in Europe once under Simeone. That was against Liverpool.

I’ll tell you what though, they aren’t as good as they once were. I thought they were fucking awful in both legs against United.

Now Burnley out the way. Keep saying it but it’s true we beat Liverpool next week and it’s 4 points with 7 games left. That is a huge deficit with the fixtures they have left and the fixture pile up. Win next week and it’s ours imo
