I think this talk about every game being a final puts unnecessary pressure on us. Klopp's approach is better, he says the run-in will be fun. Everybody knows that every game is important, no need to go over the top. It's likely that both teams will drop points, so it's not guaranteed that a draw/loss in some game will be punished.
I'm not saying that's something Pep should be constantly telling the players because of course that would add unnecessary pressure. I just meant that I think we're going to need to win all our remaining games.

What’s going on? The levels of distress and pessimism over 1 game is crazy.

We have a great chance to lift the premier league again and maybe with a bit of luck the champions league. We lost 1 battle today but we have the personality and self belief to win the war

It’s not over until it’s over. If we manage to fall short it won’t be a disaster. This team is fantastic and personally I think we have overachieved this season. We don’t have anyone who can put the ball into the net 30+ times a season. Not an excuse but a fact. Most top teams have 3/4 forwards we have zero.

A few players are not hitting previous heights and need sold to allow reinforcements

The club tried to buy Kane but could not and decided to wait and now move for Erling. Jack was purchased when we thought Messi was not an option and Bernie might be leaving.

Sad day today and no one likes losing but we fucked up with how we started and followed up with a goalkeeping howler.

Pick yourselves up and get ready to go again against Brighton. Stay off social media as it is a distorted view of reality.

Fully agree with that. We have overachieved this season given the glaring hole up front. Winning nothing is now a distinct possibility but it is not a disaster as you suggest. I would advise blues to stay well away from all media over the coming weeks and stick to CD's DVD's and City Forums.

Hate to bring doomer energy, but got a growing feeling we're winning nout lol. Hopefully it's just the pessimism talking.

I don't quite trust this team the way I've trusted other guardiola sides, there's definitely holes and I feel like a trash summer is finally coming home to roost.
Key players running on empty are a major worry, we had an incredible December, magnificent effort and wonderful results from an incredibly tough fixture list, but since the new year we have looked leggy and a little underwhelming.

A big 10 days coming up.

after yesterday the extra momentum Liverpool got and how Spurs team failed at home to create a shot on target I am not almost sure Liverpool will end up on 94 points.

so its gonna take us 95 points for the title or its not ours.

only small hope is Soton away will be hard for them as that is now moved due to FA final. so their 37th round game I guess moves to be a midweek game Tuesday/Wednesday just before the final round. that gives few more days for Soton to relax and give them more energy for a good pressing game while Liverpool hopefully will be tested more in the final than we tested them yesterday.
but also this Soton just swallowed 6 goals against Chelsea (but beat Arsenal yesterday), so who knows...

We looked fantastic just a week ago, Liverpool were happy to take a draw, there was nothing leggy or underwhelming about our performance. It was bad luck that we had 4 very difficult games in a row and some injuries to key players too.

Think we'll be strong vs Real, and in the PL too.

I wouldn't disagree with any of that.
Anyone who believes Klopp when he says it should be fun is an idiot IMHO. He knows it's pressure time, just as does Pep. 7 wins does it for us for certain, probably even less.

Maybe, just maybe people at the Club know what they are doing.

Missing out on paying Messi & Ronaldo a near half a mil a week is the 2 biggest swerves since James Bond ski'd down the Alps.

Kane would've been good but we weren't gonna be held to ransom by fucking Levy!
