Liverpool might stumble into form without Mane and Salah I think. However it's a big ask winning all games with CL games sandwiched in and cup games.

What's your point? Virtually anyone, including Liverpool fans, thinks that a Liverpool win is unlikely. But unlikely doesn't mean impossible.

Even with a much worse team in 13/14 they dropped only 9 pts in the 2nd half of the season. It's very unlikely that they will win 15 from the next 17 games, but it's not impossible. If they win 15 and draw 2, they'll finish on 92 pts. Fortunately, we may lose 1 and draw 4 and still finish on 93 pts. We are in a great position, but it's not done yet.

For comparison about how unreliable tendencies may be: we lost 4 league games in December and January in 18/19. Back then it seemed extremely unlikely that we would win the last 14 games. But we did it. Football is a funny old game, it offers incredible scenarios at times (e.g., us vs United in 2012 with 5-6 games to go).
Same here. Its not over yet!

Read the title of the thread.

We'll see how they perform in their next few games. They have:

Palace (a)
Leicester (h)
Burnley (a)
Norwich (h)
West Ham (h)
Brighton (a)

As well as Arsenal (a) and Leeds (h) that need to be scheduled in.

To have any chance of winning the league, they'll have to win all of those games and hope to be ahead of us in the league. From the 19th of March onwards they have more difficult fixtures where they are more likely to drop points.

I think they could go on a run, but I don't think we will drop our standards enough to let them in. Time will tell, but we should be very confident from here.
I think the key will be us just continuing this run for a few more games. If Liverpool drop points first, I think they'll be demoralised and lose any hope they've got of winning the title. Hopefully missing Salah and Mane will be their downfall against Palace.

They should, should, get maximum points from that run of games

exactly, if it was the other way around im sure we would be confident that we could catch them given the amount of games still to play.
Whilst it's true the rage blew an 8 point lead against us with far fewer games left, the big difference is they had to play their competitor i.e. us, away.

This time around we have the 11 point lead (and OK, let's say it becomes 8 if Liverpool win their game in hand). But crucially we have the head to head at home. Win our home match against them and it's all over IMO.

We don't play them till 9th April, by which time it could be pretty much over anyway if we are still 10 points or more ahead, as there will only be 6 games left, just got to hold this gap till then, and a draw will then be enough.

People keep saying it's not over, well it clearly isn't for a while a couple of months yet, but we are very much in the box position, and any drop of points by them will be bad for their psychology, if we keep winning.

We’re currently in the middle of a run of fixtures where we play before Liverpool each time. The next three games all work out that way and if we can keep winning, it’s great psychologically as they kick off knowing they have to win just to get back to where they were before we played.
Of course the opposite is the case should we drop points as that gives them a big incentive so just need to stay focused and grind out the results.

Sure, but they are 11 behind with a game in hand. Pretty reasonable to expect they will be 8 points back when caught up. If it stays that way then we'd be a very similar situation to when we were 8 points back from the rags, with the crucial difference of the head to head being at home for us.
