We have to win every game, but it makes me sick how the media seem to be wishing Liverpool to win everything. They were banned from Europe years ago because their fans rioted and murdered fans from the opposition, but all seems forgiven because of the Hillsborough disaster. I lived in Liverpool for a year in the 1970s and never in my life have witnessed such nasty, corrupt people, they don’t deserve a football club.

Serious 18/19 vibes starting to come through, these will win most of their remaining games one way or the other.

If we had just climbed to this position instead of "winning the league in january" people would be a lot happier.

Either team could drop points in the most unlikely way in any game.

Momentum only applies while youre winning, we can end their momentum if it doesnt happen before.

If we beat the dippers we have a one loss + draw buffer over them, not including goal difference.

Getting to that game v them and still being top would mean a draw v them is ok.

We still have everything to play for, lets try to enjoy it, Im sure Pep is.

They’ve had very easy fixtures since the 2-2 against Chelsea in the beginning of January. Now they soon have a couple of tricky away games, including us. If they win those, the title is theirs to lose and if they eventually win it, they will have deserved it. We need to shape up again, been bad recently.

Keep the 3 point gap til we play them or even just the one, but i think we will turn them over at the etihad.

They are winning games they should do! early season they didn’t, they may drop 4/6 points meaning we need 93 meaning 9 wins as long as we don’t lose to them.

They are having good luck atm, facing West Ham without their best player and then their main goal threat going off injured. Their defence is still giving up massive chances virtually every game. We would have beaten them handily tonight
Couldn't agree more. Lot of faint hearted blues on here. This is the worst Liverpool have been for quite a while, imho. Very strong in the forwards but you cannot tell me that a midfield regularly featuring Henderson, Ox, Keita and Milner, with a defence to be got at by the better teams, is anything we should be worrying about.
And tomorrow isn't a 'must win' game - yes, it'd be great to win but we aren't at our best - that's yet to come this season. Hopefully we're winding up to hit that peak consistently very, very soon. We should be good enough to get the points tomorrow. If not, the Liverpool game is the 'must win' one.
All of Liverpool's are 'must win.' They were very lucky today against West Ham.

We still need to win games regardless of Liverpool. Them beating West Ham at home is hardly a surprise. Us needing to win the majority of our games is usually a fact too.

We will drop some points and so will they. The momentum hasn't swung. They've just won their games in hand and we dropped some points. They're on a good run the same way we were when coming from miles back on Chelsea and hitting the top.

They give away a lot of chances. Someone will beat them again this season, and they'll draw a couple too.

They have three games that might prove difficult. Arsenal, Villa and Southampton away. Southampton are odd. On their day a very tough team to play but capable of getting hammered too. Let's hope the former turns up against the never guilty.
