It's an early Saturday kick-off, away game after a CL tie and Brighton have a full week to prepare. The problem is Liverpool have won 12 in a row and their confidence is really high.
The problem is, Brighton aren't very good

Couldn't agree more. Lot of faint hearted blues on here. This is the worst Liverpool have been for quite a while, imho. Very strong in the forwards but you cannot tell me that a midfield regularly featuring Henderson, Ox, Keita and Milner, with a defence to be got at by the better teams, is anything we should be worrying about.
And tomorrow isn't a 'must win' game - yes, it'd be great to win but we aren't at our best - that's yet to come this season. Hopefully we're winding up to hit that peak consistently very, very soon. We should be good enough to get the points tomorrow. If not, the Liverpool game is the 'must win' one.
All of Liverpool's are 'must win.' They were very lucky today against West Ham.
Liverpool’s midfield is a strange one. It’s their weakest area of the team but also their most important when they don’t have the ball.

Their midfield serves a different purpose to ours; they have to be very fit and run about a great deal closing down the opposition when they have the ball. They aren’t particularly involved in play in the middle of the pitch compared to our midfield but they stop the opposition playing, which is where their importance comes in and they’re very good at doing it.

A few things they are good at with the ball:
Henderson is good at little 1-2s in the final third, after the striker makes a run forward, where he occupies a deep striker position and ties in play with one of the wide forwards who try and get a shot off after playing it to and back from Henderson going in a number of different directions. It’s hard to defend against.
Thiago is a good passer of the ball, if he plays they can match us up in midfield. But when he’s not there, they do lack quality on the ball deep in midfield.

However, Liverpool’s lack of midfield quality with the ball is kind of nullified by them constantly bypassing them and going long/down the channels/crossing into the box.

I dont know how many wins we need now, maybe 8? The nice thing is that if we win our next 2 then we only need to draw at home to liddlepool. Meaning they will have to attack us, as they will be 6 pts behind with 7 more to play. That will suit City to a tee, opening up the spaces that don't normally happen with park the bus teams like Man Yoo. Still buzzing from yesterday. Excellent City. We are going for a 4th title in 5 years. Am i dreaming?

Liverpool play 3 times and us twice before we play each other so if both teams win all their games, they'll only be 3 points behind us when we play them
