Despite battering the rags I thought at the time the Spurs game was a big turning point. Just had that gut feeling even though we had been on an amazing run. The scousers have just not let us get away with those annoying 1-0 wins they got
 
Any talk of title gone or we’ve bottled it are of course ridiculous, but there’ll be a fair few posts in this thread not ageing so well when we were 12 infront…
 
What did Neville say pre match about the United Arab Emirates .........I didn't quite catch it,,.....

Dunno, we were 88% not long ago
Despite all those wins during winter, they never had City achieving more than 92 points. Had the winter trend continued, City were looking at something close to 100 points. They haven't much cared for City's goal scoring prowess, and they aren't exactly wrong. It is just that the expectation for the other has been increasing. Better to be four points ahead than otherwise, but f***.
