Inter milan went from consistently being above 60% to win the title to 34% in the space of one week.

It is good reading, but it is just numbers. We were over 75% down as winning the games we dropped points in.

We are in a good position. Still need to win the crucial points.
Of course. If a team does better or worse than expected then the odds change and the less games left the more volatile the change.

Its just the same as the bookies…they don’t have to be correct all the time they just have to be better predictors than people who disagree with them the majority of the time.

Just before Sergio scored v QPR we were 98.5% not winning the PL two seconds later we were over 99% favourites.

They have to bring the game to us next Sunday, wonder if they will go with four up top to put pressure on Rodri? Pep knows you have to slow the game down and not get stretched against the dippers, keep it tight and they run out of ideas. In the last two seasons I can’t think of when they have knitted together 45 minutes of football against us, it’s always smash and grab with them.

We have two difficult away games left , Wolves who give very little away and West Ham who have already held us in the cup ,these to games will define our title chances , the Dipper game is huge but i think we will cancel each other out with two strong defences wouldnt be surprised with a 0-0 scoreline
The Dippers tougher games are at home , Spuds,Rags and Everton derby game and they will get decisions from the officials no doubt , if we draw the tough away games and the Dipper game we will end up on 91 points, meaning the Dippers have to win six of their last seven games after Sunday.
Sunday is the title decider.

A draw will do us just nicely.

A draw would be a good result but a win would kill their momentum.

We'd be 4 points ahead with 7 games left with arguably a kinder set of fixtures.

I hesitate to say it's a title decider but if we do win, I'd fancy us to see it through from there.

In typical city fashion, we will beat the dips but lose to wolves the following game ;)

Liverpool have hard fixtures as well but most of them seem to be at home can't see them losing many games at all think around 94 points will probably do it

Liverpool’s run in is very tricky. I’m not saying ours is easy, but I’d much prefer to be in our position than theirs. If we beat them next week, I think that will see us through.

I'd say it's pretty even.

Liverpool's home advantage balances the scales to a degree against Everton, United and Spurs.

Wolves, West Ham and Leeds away were always tough games and all three have stuff to play for.

Even us winning next week only affords us one more loss or a draw if Liverpool then remain unbeaten and goal difference becomes a factor.

Not sure Leeds away is a tough game this year and not sure they'll have something to play for by the time we get to them either.

We beat them 7-0 at home and will want to put that right.

They are still in the shit but the manager is getting a tune of sorts.

We could do with Everton losing today and Arsenal losing tomorrow, to keep Spurs honest against Liverpool.

Agree we have to win next week

94 will do it, can afford to drop no more than 2 points, 3 if we beat Liverpool, and we have Wolves, Leeds and West Ham to play, not an easy run in as some imply. We screwed up by failing to beat Palace and falling asleep against Spurs in the last minute, three points went missing that could have given us a cushion. Of course Liverpool aren’t guaranteed full points in remaining games after City, but if you look back they have been given a lot of slack from refs and opposition, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they win all the other dames, so next Sunday is a must-win for us. A draw keeps it in our hands, but we have to win the remaining games after that.

I think we need 7 wins plus a draw (including at least a point against them) in whatever combination it falls. If we beat them I think we'll have at least one draw somewhere else or if we draw against them then we'll need to win the other 7.

They also have Southampton and Villa away. Southampton normally roll over for them and Gerrard won’t be arsed about losing to them if it means winning them the title.

I know dropped points are all the same, but I feel we used up our leeway with the Spurs defeat, really cheesed me off that one.
