They fucking bottled it today, their arses were going more and more until Teeth scored.
Calling it now. We will win it by at least 5 points. We've been here before, and not just once. You have to be perfect to beat City to a title and they aren't capable of it.
Well I think you’ll be waiting awhile bud, cos that game in hand could end being played midweek last week of the season (if we get past Bayern)Great to see Arsenal drop a few points. I'd still say its in their hands whilst they have points on the board and can make do with a draw against us.
Should we win our game in hand I'll feel much more confident but as we all know there are no guarantees of that happening.
The game in hand currently is West Ham at home early May but after the 22nd we will have two games in hand.Well I think you’ll be waiting awhile bud, cos that game in hand could end being played midweek last week of the season (if we get past Bayern)
Ok, I thought Brighton (a) was the game that needed re-arranging.The game in hand currently is West Ham at home early May but after the 22nd we will have two games in hand.
They are the best ones and we have been involved in four title races that went to the last match and we won them all! It’s so tight!!
It is. I’m guessing they’re waiting to see if we make to the CL semis. If we’re out it will be one of those weeks. If we get through it will be midweek during the final week of the season.Ok, I thought Brighton (a) was the game that needed re-arranging.
You only have to be better for a short period of time in a season and you can win it. A season is not the ideal length of time over which to make the judgment of which team is truly the best.
The Fink Tank used to do some great articles based on empirical evidence and I’m pretty sure they did one to demonstrate why.
Yes it does. The game in hand we have now though is West Ham which was due to be played when we played Burnley in the Cup.Ok, I thought Brighton (a) was the game that needed re-arranging.
They were better than us after Kompany left and before Dias signed. That's the only time since 2009 though.Correct. Time has proven conclusively that the best team out of the recent Liverpool and City rivalry is City but they won a title in between four City titles. City had an iffy patch at the start of the season including being robbed of a win at home to Spurs and Liverpool got a great start to the season and City basically gave the chase up.
The Scousers were never a better team than us but one key spell made a big difference in one season out of five.
Not saying that but the best team in the league usually wins the league.Winning one competition doesn’t make you the best.
How much?Willing to bet we won't win it by at least 5 points.
Hopefully not but arsenal are more than capable of winning games 5 nil too. They won’t beat us on goal difference. I think we have plenty of goals in the tank if needed. We almost always take our foot off the gas in games to conserve energy. I think if we have to, we will throw in a couple of 5-0 type games to completely put that out of the equation. Not to mention if we beat them, even by one goal it’s a two goal swing.
Ahhh the 38 games which is what the premier league title involves whoever is top after those 38 games is the champions and the best team in my opinion..And there’s your mistake. What makes 38 games or a season the correct period to judge which team is actually the best one?
Zinchenko's face as he sat on the bench towards the end of the game shows how much that result hurt Arsenal.
