Pep has always said that momentum from playing (and winning) trumps fatigue every time. In the last decade no one has finished seasons better than us, especially in Pep's seasons.
If I was good enough to be an elite footballer I'd want to play twice a week. It keeps the focus and sharpness. Fuck resting. They can do that for 2 months at the end of the season.

Do people not see the danger in this though? We’ve gone from needing to beat Arsenal at all costs to thinking “well, a draw is good now” and they’ve gone through the exact reverse. That change in mindset on both sides can actually make this game more difficult? Pep has had the team purring by making out that each game is win or bust. The Arsenal game would have been that too but now it isn’t. So the players need to actually show they’re unaffected by that. If we give them an inch, they’ll take a mile. We need to still play like we desperately need to win.
Players won't think of it any other way, we've been here too often now with this squad. Arsenal are in unchartered territory for them and have lost the momentum, that's the big advantage we have.

It’s still going to be very very tough for us. We play them at home. I fear when we have to go to Brighton away as pep as alluded to that Theyvare the best team of the moment. Brighton
Hopefully it will be over when we play, We must beat them on Wednesday, we can afford to drop at least 4 points, c'mon City!
