My brain can't fully compute that we are still in a title race. The timeline + performances + experience with Liverpool for 5 years are all screaming it's done but it isn't by any stretch of the imagination.

But we are in such a no man's land right now. We don't know if Arsenal are par for their quality, way over par or a bit over par. We don't know what United and Newcastle are able to do. We don't know if City's problems require an overhaul or fine-tuning.

Season pivots on Spurs at home and away for me. They're very beatable, and if we flip those results then we've made up +6 from last year.

Weird season though. I'm glad it won't be Liverpool.Let's never sell to an English side again, what hubris (myself included, who thought it wouldn't impact us).

We are still favourites with most of the major bookies ..

Can’t believe it , have they not been watching us this season !!!!!

Newcastle and the rags finish above us at this rate if we carry on ffs

If we were in Arsenal's position, and they in ours, and utd where they are, no way would I be saying it is done. So I don't in the slightest see it as done withnus chasing either. If anything, we should know how to chase it.

It is more the performances, and repeat issues that are disheartening. And a lot of that does cone down to Pep, and we know fine well he will not change.

But there is plenty still to play for. And a lot can still happen. Including utd winning the league. And if they can, bloody hell so can we.

That's it. We've been very disjointed this season, even in our better games. A mix of injuries, world cup and royal death disruption, individual player performances, system etc. And we are still very much in contention, unlike Liverpool and Chelsea. Just need to see if we can hit some form going into the spring.

We’re miles off and pep knows it hence his recent reported comments, we will do well to finish 3rd

I bet Arsenal couldn’t believe their fucking luck when we accepted £50m for Zinchenko.

Why, if we were going to be playing control-based football, were we willing to let him go so easily? He was in no rush to go and could’ve been an important player this season.

And to replace him with Gomez. Fuck me.

We’re not winning it this year lads

watching Arsenal here reminds me of city between 2017-2019 , relentless and taking apart so called big teams in their own back yards

£50m?

Try £30m.

He wanted to go and was in final 18 months of contract.

8 points gap, and imo the way we play, we aint beating Spurs next game. not with current form of attacking and defence.
will be right mindfuck to hope for a United win to overtake us and arsenal not to go 10/11 points clear probably.

Would he have wanted to go if we could’ve promised a more prominent role?

He has a new wife and a daughter. As much as he's a City fan, his family comes first.

So he'd go to wherever gave him the most money.

I'm pretty sure that wasn't Wolves and Arsenal must have significantly increased the wages compared to City.

20 game to go is a lot arsenal look unbeatable at the moment but let’s see where they are with 8 games left of the season! Only problem is can we keep up with them!?

As shit as spurs are theyve still opened arsenal up 3 times for great chances. They score against us.

They look a lot like our 2018 team and we didnt let up Until it was a Formality.

of course, Son and Kane wont need 4 chances until they score vs our defence. more like they will have 2 shots = 2 goals against us. but that down to our defence and Ederson.
