They wouldn’t ever say it in public but privately they were probably thinking two weeks ago that even a narrow unluckyish defeat at City would be manageable and it was almost a free hit for them.

Now, even a draw and it’s as good as all over for them.

Anything is possible. We could have another Forest type game. But seeing how they’re defending at the moment, I can’t even imagine us not scoring at least twice. If they can still beat us then fair play to them. But I’m more confident now than at any time during the season.

I’d actually have it more likely that we piss the league with two games to spare now than them winning it.

The biggest danger to our premier league and champions league hopes is the fact that we have Leeds and then Real away within 48 hours. Win on Wednesday and that situation is mitigated and we can play the reserves against Leeds. So Wednesday could be the difference between none or one trophy and three. It’s enormous.

We have to win on Wednesday. If we do it gives us breathing space as then we can draw 2 games and still win the title. Everton away could be a battle we don't need especially 3 days before a CL 2nd leg. You can be sure Dyche will have his players pumped telling them City's players won't want to get injured and won't relish a physical battle

Yes Brighton will be tough. I really now feel we will win this now. My biggest fear is an injury to Rodri. Phillips being nowhere near good enough and then were down to playing someone out of position.
Rodri is vital to CL and Prem imo.
