I think Arsenal will go for broke in the first half hour against us and see where it leaves them.

They aren't good enough to keep a clean sheet but they know it's their last throw of the dice to dictate their own situation.

Arsenal's team have very little to no experience of playing big occasion situations, and they are coming to the home of who know it inside out.

If we can win and then also at Fulham next week, I will be more confident.

Games at Everton, Brighton and Brentford, will certainly be not easy.

West Ham and Leeds at home is where we can really turn the screw.
One game at a time. If we beat Arsenal and are only 2 points behind with 2 games in hand well that is a nice position to be in considering we have only come to the party late. Second biggest match of the season for me on Wednesday after Bayern away.

Football is funny tho. We got to expect Arsenal are maybe due a bit of luck to turn the table back in their favour. It’s all been going for us. Anyway, forget all that crap, Haaland wants it he will score 2.

I think you’re dismissing Chelsea (may have Poch), Everton, Brighton and Brentford way to easy. All dangerous teams for different reasons. I expect this to go to the last game.
I don't think I am really. 2 points behind with 2 games in hand would be massive. It allows us to drop points in one of those games while keeping our lead, and they also have to play Chelsea and Brighton in addition to Newcastle away. Obviously I won't be celebrating anything until it's done, but I think it is close to done if we beat them.

No. Nowhere near. Too many games still left. That being said, if (when?) we beat Arsenal next week, I'm guessing that 5 wins and a draw out of the last 7 games may well be enough, as I think they'll drop more points on the run in.

If they get a draw at the Etihad, it'll be tight, but I still think we'll do it.
What you've given is a reasonable, even slightly cautious assessment of the situation. Rather than crowing the way all the Arse fans were a couple of months ago, I'd rather that approach. It's the City way.

If we beat Arsenal, we could draw two of our last seven games and still win the title.

But if we beat Arsenal, I'd be surprised if they win their last five. Looking at the fixtures, we could head into that last very tricky week needing just one win from three matches.

A seven point gap but with two games still in hand.

The pressure on Arsenal would be truly immense and going in to three tough fixtures for them.

I'd still anticipate they would drop points again before us.

The draw at home to Southampton has afforded us a terrible night at the Etihad next week.

I'm sorry ????
Arsenal are due a bit of luck, are you serious? Fulham (h) Rags (h) Villa (a) Bournemouth (h) Liverpool (a), they've used up a whole seasons luck already !
