The real jeopardy of not winning makes ultimate victory all the more enjoyable.It would be nice to be in a race where dropped points don't feel like a disaster. This could be one of those years. And it'd be great if we could get a record fourth-in-a-row after a multi-team tussle.
There no doubt this is all approached scientifically. Mad to suggest otherwise.It shouldn’t be. They’ve got all season to plan and prepare so that the team peaks for March/April.
Everything from team selections to training and not bringing on subs like yesterday will be done with the aim of getting all 25 players there in top shape.

I dont see Foden as the heir to KDB tbh. He likes to come in from the right and has gone on record to say that's his best position. Bellingham is the closest thing to KDB, a true CM who can do everything. Like everyone else I'm praying KDB can come back the same player.
It’s sad on one level I guess but seriously who could really replace him? We shouldn’t expect Foden to reach KDB’s level — nor nearly any other player to do so. When all is said and done Kevin will be considered one of the all-time greats of the sport even if he comes back and isn’t the player he was. We have been truly blessed to have watched him. That’s my point, we need to quell the expectations on Phil, he’s really not delivering for me on my expectations, perhaps I got drawn into thinking he could step on to the next level but I think he’s stagnated and his returns aren’t anywhere near good enough. TBF Foden has never been given a real chance to be our 10, even with KDB out.I don't think Julian is the problem but rather Foden's inconsistency.. we've waited years for him to become the true KDB successor, and he has a good game and then follows it up with a bad one.
Also he is a bit selfish and doesn't square it when he should.. where as Julian even though in a slump always goes for the high % play, passing to a team mate.
Maybe Pep sees the same and wants another winger to move Foden to central midfield alongside Rodri.. the Stones role to cover for when Stones is injured.
But even bigger problem is inconsistency in midfield. while everyone is saying we should have scored more with KDB.. I think the ability to kill off other teams's chances in midfield before they get to our back line is even more dire.
