Pathetic attempt to endear yourself to our fans by being anti-Liverpool. You have already proven your non football intelligence by stating previously that Yaya Toure may not get into your team of last year. Then compounded it by saying that you would not ‘take’ Haaland, despite not having a striker if any worth at your club. You are an idiot..
Cool story bro

@bridgeno1 I’m still staggered at this Haaland is literally the best striker in World football.. calling you an idiot was way too generous

It definitely does detract from our achievements when some of our fans say that what we were up against isn’t very good.

I’ve always found it strange when they belittle our challengers to the point where they’re pretty much saying they’re shit. We even had some who said it about 2018-2022 Liverpool, a team that we had to win 14 games on the bounce to beat them to one title, a team that got 99 and 97 points and got to three CL finals, winning one. We came out of that period having won more league titles and more trophies all-in than that great Liverpool side, which makes our success even better.

The league has never been stronger. I think teams down the bottom of the league now would challenge for European spots in the 90s. I think some of United’s title winning teams from the mid-90s would struggle to get into the top half of today’s Prem.
I think it's just the way a lot of fans "enjoy" the rivalry with our closest challengers.

You'll get more likes on this forum for complimenting Brighton players, than daring to suggest players like Rashford or Fernandes are actually quite good footballers.

We would have to endure a massive down turn or suffer a series of major inuries to cock the title up this year because the alleged challengers are not looking anyhere near good enough

Goons : flatter to decieve , their fan base are far too emotional along with some of their players , probably the deepest squad in the league, they have got two players for every position but they do not have the mentality

Dippers : Klippetty is changing half the team and introducing new tactics so its a transition season for them

Rags : The club that keeps on giving , they are signing players on big money past their sell by date and a captain who is a complete mard arse , they still need half a dozen £50-60m players to get near us

Chelsea : Scatter gun transfer policy will take a few transfer windows for Pochetino to sort out and the eight year contracts handed out are going to back fire and restrict any future transfers

Spuds : No chance they replace Kane's output , the media hyping them up because they beat a shite Rag team and Bournemouth for f*cks sake , i do rate their new manager but how good is he at turd polishing ?

We are odds on at the bookies , they know their onions.

Whilst its fine to disagree, I think we can cut the Gooner a bit of slack. We're never gonna agree with a lot of what he says, vehemently in some cases, but there's no need to be insulting. His opinions are his and I quite enjoy an alternative view on here occasionally. Makes a change from all the bitter vitriol on forums and social media.

Newcastle will be right in there.

They’ve got the second best striker in the league who’s probably the best all-round player who plays up front around, and a very good second choice striker, a very hard working team, they’re hard to pay against and break down.

I thought they gave us a really hard game last week, they were difficult to play against… we were just incredible last week (pound-for-pound, due to tiredness and lack of numbers, no subs made… one of our best performances of recent years).

But they don’t play us every week and I think they’ll be very good this season, improving on last with Isak settling into his first full season.
