Scousers upped their game today, it's their cup final. I think they've been nothing special this season with some flukey results of late. Expect them to drop points when we least expect them

Crowd carrier them today. They have been lucky for sure but just don’t see them losing again.

One of the top 3 will win the next 5. We have some really tough games coming up, I think if we win next 5 we will do it buts going to be very close.

Our fixture is the easiest of the three. Liverpool has United Villa and Everton away which are three brutal matches, while Arsenal has us, United and Tottenham away. Our only tough match away is Tottenham, which we already beat in the FA cup. We should be able to win all the matches from now on if we are at a good level.

Can't understand why it's just being assumed by some that Liverpool (or Arsenal, for that matter) will win every remaining fixture. They might. They could. But Arsenal could have easily dropped two points against Brentford, and Liverpool more than easily could (and you might argue, but for a mistaken refereeing decision, should) have dropped two against Forest. We've not been at our best but we're still very much in the argument. In a way that's very obvious, we pretty much have to win against Arsenal, I'd say. Apart from that, everything's still open.

We certainly could of done with upping ours they had a fair few first teamers injured and they ran us raggied. If that's our excuse every time we drop points we best start working on new excuses.

Everton are shit, Aston villa will go into freefall and united are united.

Dippers next 4 games inc home games v Brighton, Sheff Utd and Palace. Just up to us to stay in touch with our next 2 at home to Arsenal and Villa.

Most teams when playing us have conceded victory before a ball is kicked by sitting back. Discounting the teams that fluke a winner the best way to play us is with a high energy pressure.

Dippers have to play United away, Fulham away and Villa who will be pushing for 4th away. Their away record is what'll kill them.

No idea who will win it this year sure hope its us but if we don't I will be cool with it we can't win it ever year as long as we win a cup its OK with me, just wish it wasn't the scoucers or the yuppy cunts.

Only team that has two strikers and plays one as a winger is hi was shit by the way but when our main striker was struggling and was also shit we couldn’t even change anything . We need a third attacker . As for today we got lucky and I’ll take it .

The momentum is definitely with Arsenal right now, we play like that against them we will be bummed.
City at the Etihad are a totally different beast to City away. I'd bite your hands off now for Arsenal to get a point at the Etihad.

Fucking hell lads. I can't believe it takes an Arsenal fan to comment on losing your heads but if anything today showed why City are champions. You can't play amazing every week, and when you have an off day and can't win then make sure you don't lose. City dug in there, got the point, made sure Liverpool didn't extend their lead, all whilst having one of your worst performances of the season.

Job done I'd say, 10 games to go, all 3 teams WILL drop points. I reckon I should open a business offering counselling services to City fans, I'd be a multi millionaire within a year.

You won a treble last year yet got beaten at home by Brentford. No team can play like peak Barca every week. Look at your trophy cabinet and have a bit more faith that your players and manager know what they're doing!!!

Be careful pal you’ll get lynched for talking sense

1pt behind with 10 games to go.... If anything I think we're too close to the top for our preferred method

I just hope Arse hit top form too soon they have been freescoring form since early January, that surely must end around April. if not, title is theirs.

problem is the Arse-dipper game earlier, Arteta completely shut them off limiting them to one shot on target, while scored their chances.

and they gave us not much chance at the Emirates either. feels like Arteta learned his lessons tactically did a fantastic transfer window with getting in Rice and giving belief to Havertz he was missing at Chelsea and also Raya is a much more decent GK than Ramsdale thats 3 upgrades in one summer into their line up. we had zero transfers like that last summer.

unfortunately thats hell of a lot better recruitment than Nunes, Gvardiol, Doku, Kovacic. I mean Rice and Havertz has more starts than our 4 players together in PL this season. had they went out and downgrade rather than upgrade they would be nowhere near us. and actually doing last season what they did without likes of Raya, Havertz, Rice is more solid looking back now but they folded under pressure as they were not ready yet. this time the way they beat us in the league and dippers too even us in super cup game with lucky deflections and pens and with good recruitment they might be ready this time around.

Arteta also avoided a loss at Anfield, which again was a more controlled match than how much control we had today.
Arteta learned from the best and learned well.

still I would hate it if he could lift the title taking everything he learned here and get the better of us over a season.

Txiki also has something to explain, because from a treble winning position to do that transfer wise we lose hugely experienced class players and replace them with bench players, if that happened to Arteta he loses Xhaka and gets a worse player than Xhaka rather than Rice a much better one, well Arsenal wouldnt be where they are today.
same as us before if we had replaced Jesus with Callum Wilson instead of Haaland we might not win treble last season. recruitment does matter, it matters a lot, and Phillips, Nunes etc direction aint gonna get us anywhere apart from costly errors while allowing rivals to catch us while we are front...

next thing you know is Alvarez playing instead of Rodri if he is injured as pep wont trust Nunes, Kovacic, Phillips etc to do that.
