City, Liverpool, Spurs look like the early contenders. A very long road ahead.

Arsenal on same points as them and done that scoring in injury time to change the result thing again today.

Not because of today, but Rice is a very good addition.

Hopefully, we can do well against the teams fighting for top four and have them take points off each other so that we can actually open up a gap but we largely seem to have to suffer for our titles. Makes them sweeter in the end but a successful season with a bit less stress would be nice.

Spurs are well coached. I don’t think they have the horses to contend
I think they'll do the inevitable 2nd half of season fall away. I think Liverpool will be a match for anyone on their day, but consistency may be a problem over a full season.

I think this season will be the one that marks us out as legendary, or otherwise. Quite a lot of turbulence losing Gundogan, Mahrez, Palmer, Laporte and Cancelo, plus a couple of other youngsters I would like us to have kept. I think we missed out on Eze’ from Palace. So far the perfect start, 12 points from 4, but unless we get punished for doing the same as the cartel have for the last few decades, I really can’t see us ever not being in contention for trophies, well at least for the next decade. Major threat is from Saudi Arabia. Anyway, to answer the question we need 95 points this time, so many teams have started well, I suspect there may be a couple of surprise teams that are in contention for Champions League, not Newcastle or Chelsea
The more teams that are in with a chance..taling points off each other will l I wer the title winners points..i think 85 to 87 points will do it i think and about 4 or 5 teams can get that this year
