Think today was the first League game in many, many years where we have seen a starting City midfield with neither Rodri, Bernardo, Grealish, de Bruyne, nor Stones, let alone Gundogan or Mahrez. It felt a seminal moment.
Considering 5 of those will be back, hardly seminal just unfortunate.

Liverpool are running like mad this season. They are on the diet again. Arsenal, if they beat us next weekend, will be there too.

We are the best, but it won't be easy.

I think if we get through the Arsenal game with all 3 points we'll be in a good position to come back after the international break against Brighton at home with Rodri, Stones, Bernardo all back. Then we'll really start to play closer to our best football, which we haven't so far this season despite only losing one game in the league.

We're not winning the title again this season.
It won't be down to how we perform, it'll be down to officiating.
There's a clear sending off today for 2 yellows - if that was a City player no hesitation for that second yellow.
We didn't perform, but those decisions change games

Controversial and I hate them but Liverpool best competitors in league so far, celebrated when they lost today, we need to get a result versus Arsenal, you would hope that surely under the guise of a Premier League audience that the referee couldn’t perform as bad again but I won’t hold my breath

It won’t be celebrated by the masses but we can because we are the best!

Did you see the officiating against Liverpool today ? It's too early to say anything conclusive about the title race. Three teams have a chance of winning it.

I think we are the best. Compare our performance at West Ham and their performance vs West Ham at Anfield. We had 15 shots on target vs 7 for Liverpool, and we conceded fewer shots too. Our problem now is that we have the entire first choice midfield out due to injuries and suspension. Guess we may lose at Arsenal without Rodri, but nothing will be decided any time soon.

I think Rodri was being quite astute not talking just about the games top players are expected to play but matches now lasting maybe 100 minutes instead of 90. No idea how it’ll play out but more injuries likely.

By the way, don’t take this the wrong way but from a commercial point of view, City turning the EPL into a Bayern dominated Bundesliga is unhelpful, as the EPL could become less interesting and for all the loss of revenue that might entail. PGMOL is basically the ultra arm of the EPL. It doesn’t matter how good you are, you’re not winning it this season. You heard it here first. Bookmark this because future events will prove me right. Have you ever wondered why VAR was invented? Think about it.

You’re right for the reasons I just posted

Get fucked you goony ****. It was no bother in the 90s when United won numerous titles.

We’ve always had a kick up the arse in the early part of the season, in recent seasons that was Palace at home, this season seemingly Wolves away.

We’ll see come May. That’s when titles and medals are handed out - not in September, or whatever else month it was you celebrated last season.

Let’s see how this season transpires, shall we? It seems to me anyway, that many of your fellow fans seem to agree with me on here. Also, in return, please do royally fuck yourself as well. There’s none so blind (like you) that won’t see.

Same as last season, celebrating far too soon. Learn a fucking lesson you sausage.

We all know why it was invented.
Everything we win is twice as hard as it is for any other team because of the corruption and cheating against us by the officials
