Win the next two and I reckon we could see them crumble. It’s great being a blue so enjoy it if possible, we as a club have nothing, absolutely nothing to prove.

Football completed. We go again but the past achievements are amazing.

Yeah our next 2 games are huge but we have to play way way better than we did against United.

If we make as many mistakes leading to counter attacks at Anfield as we did against United, they'll put 3 or 4 past us.

And Arsenal twice already this season made us lose due to deflections.

We cannot underestimate these teams. C'mon City!

Don’t think we would underestimate both teams. As city fans we tend to worry about what teams can do to us but overlook what we can do to them. Yes the counter is somewhat of an achillies heel and we are maybe not keeping as many clean sheets but that doesn’t mean we are a soft touch. Far from it.

Against the rags we played great and yes conceded on the break but only once while we dominated them for pretty much the entire game and scored 3. Quite easily could have scored another 2.

And form changes quite quickly. Struggling for goals recently and scraping 1-0 wins , we the batter Luton before looking a bit toothless in the first half yesterday again. Getting the job done though. This is the time of year we see a ruthless efficiency to get results. Plenty more games to play yet, and the stakes get higher.

Liverpool have the Europa League and a trip to the rags in the Cup. Klopp can't risk losing that game by rotating too many. Arsenal have to beat Porto to get to the next round of the CL where things will probably get harder again for them.

It's a tough run in the league but it ensures we keep our levels and focus up. Our final 6 or 7 is probably easier than our rivals, although they all become tricky in the run in. The dippers go to the swamp, West Ham and Villa plus have Spurs. We have Spurs away but otherwise games we should win. Arsenal play Spurs and the rags away in their final 4 games.

Our defence cops a lot of unjustified flak. The way we play leaves us open to counter attacks by quality teams but in spite of this we’ve only conceded more than one in a league game on one occasion since we knuckled down after the World Cup.
Individually they’re outstanding as is Eddie behind them

Our vulnerability to counters is massively exaggerated by the media desperate to find any chink in our armour but it’s really not that much of an Achilles heel as the stats bear out.

It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if come the end of the season we once again have the best defensive record.

dippers have lot more injuries, even if Salah comes back he wont be 100% match fit.
question is can we go to Anfield and not shit the bed. hopefully as a treble winner we go there and own them rather than bee shit scared of 40-50k dippers booing us and rise to the occasion rather than fold.

You get absolute pelters for saying they shit the bed or are like rabbits in the headlights - the self help readers are out in force - "treble, professionals, internationals" etc ....and yet that is exactly what happens. Pains me to say it, but you can't prepare for the rabid vitriol their fans generate and the extra level of performance their players find against us - seems to knock us back and effect our own game.

We are creating so many good chances in games that at some point someone (better than Luton) is going to get a hammering. It might as well be Liverpool.

I am not sure about rabid vitriol at Anfield. Apart from that CL match and a few league matches the crowd are often very quiet. I accept they will be up for it on Sunday but I think our club just has some sort of mental block at Anfield. We haven't bottled it at loud stadiums like Real and Atleti Madrid, PSG, Dortmund, Newcastle. The only time I have really seen City shit it was away at Poznan where we caved in in the last 15 minutes and their crowd played a big part.
