If you watched the Villa game Arsenal missed a hatful of chances early on and then the pressure built. Arsenal are a team that needs to score early at home to calm them down. Away is different but Arsenal have shown a few times this season that they run out of attacking ideas when needing to chase a game and just peter out.

A mate of mine who supports Spurs said he's only going to start watching after 30minutes. If you're not winning by then he'll stick with it!

It's why his comments (which he's nicked from moron teenage armchair fans in the main) irritated me.

A Liverpool fan has no comprehension of what it felt like to be the laughing stock of football for years whilt your arrogant neighbours won everything. They have never experienced relegation. Never known the genuine fear that your club was finished. They could never experince joy like the Aguero moment or Istanbul where you've seen your club rise from the dead, beyond your wildest dreams.

Liverpool are a club with plenty of fans and some great past teams. But that's it. They aren't fucking "special" in any way apart from in the minds of some of their modern day glory hunters.

This doesn't mean "more" to most of them. They don't even go to games. It means less.

Spot on, except Liverpool are a laughing stock.

Only their fans could go from a quadruple send off for Klopp to "we were hopeful not expecting to win the league" and claiming they never felt they would really win it. They've been top longer than anyone this season. Arsenal got absolute pelters last season for failing to win it, yet they manage to find a way to explain their failures in a positive light.

I think the difference with us vs Liverpool is we genuinely respect City and recognise they are an awesome team and if we finish above them it is an incredible achievement but we aren't entitled to do it. Dippers absolutely fail to acknowledge City's quality, feel entitled to win stuff because of their 'heritage' and as soon as they are out of a competition they slag it off as 'second rate', blame referees, and absolutely fail to acknowledge that the opposition just might be better than them. Such a toxic fanbase.

the first half against chelsea was actually quite even against arsenal except chelsea couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo, wolves had their chances also, i think both teams are absolutely capable of winning that game and it will depend on which one is the most clinical tbf.

Arsenal go 2-0 up the team is that full of quality they relax and just bide there time to score! Arsenal could do what they did to Chelsea if Spurs defend poorly and don't take there chances! I really think we need to win five games can't see Arsenal not dropping any points

Arsenal play with a lot of intensity from the 1st second to the last. They don't tend to slow down and pass games out the way we did last night for example. Pressure is on them. The longer it's 0-0 the more that builds. Spurs just need to stay in it, they've had 12 days off. The longer it goes on the more that plays into their hands.

Overall my gut feel is Arsenal draw one of their remaining 4 and win the rest.

Think they different this season? Chelsea had more possession than Arsenal because they do get everyone behind the ball for a time and defend for a while.

What's the feeling amongst Arsenal fans about Liverpool? They're utterly despised by our fans and have been since 2014, or certainly 2018. Are you quite as venomous towards them?
