the first half against chelsea was actually quite even against arsenal except chelsea couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo, wolves had their chances also, i think both teams are absolutely capable of winning that game and it will depend on which one is the most clinical tbf.

I thought Arsenal were really open, and Chelsea looked really good. They've got some talented players, and I wouldn't be surprised if Pochettino can gradually mould them into a much better team.

I think we forget at times just how young this Chelsea side are - their starting 11 is more than 2 years younger than last season, and is a lot younger than the Arsenal side who caved towards the end of last season. It's not a major surprise that they absolutely folded once Arsenal got that second goal.

I sometimes feel sad that other City fans can’t appreciate this team (and time) as they should.

This is the best team (a City team) to ever play football from these Isles.

This is empirically, objectively and unquestionably correct.

And their mental resolve is incredible.

What an amazing thing to be able to witness first hand.

I was thinking this about Pep earlier. The best manager in the history of the sport has chosen to spend the bulk of his career at Manchester City.

If Arsenal can beat Spurs in Sunday according to quite a few posters (definitely a good possibility) then there is absolutely no reason why we shouldn't beat them.

Forget our record against them on their patch as we will be putting everything into retaining our title with no distractions whatsoever. With a fully fit squad (hopefully) we know what we have to do.
We've never been at our best at the debt ridden shite hawk lane but even so have missed 3 penalties at key moments whilst they've tended to score with every chance.

We certainly have enough to beat them if we play our 'A' game and they'll be thinking the same.

So, an open game which suits us.

If it comes to it, i reckon there would be a pretty subdued atmosphere if arsenal are still in with a chance of winning the title.

Very true, rather like Everton fans these past few years when we visit Goodison, they have to see the big picture and take one for team as well as thinking of their mental health and the general good of humanity

A Liverpool fan has no comprehension of what it felt like to be the laughing stock of football for years whilt your arrogant neighbours won everything. They have never experienced relegation. Never known the genuine fear that your club was finished. They could never experince joy like the Aguero moment or Istanbul where you've seen your club rise from the dead, beyond your wildest dreams.

A bit like this?

For the sugar daddy sheikh-money, no doubt.

Realistically, I don't think goal difference is a factor for City now. Arsenal are that bit ahead and also would need to have better results in the final games for it to come down to goal difference. So the chances of catching them that way are slim at best. Huge winning margins are usually pretty rare at the end of a season when all the games are must-win. Too much tension unless you score a couple really early.

It's going to be tight but you have to back this team to get the job done. If Arsenal lose to Spurs it's in the bag.

Liverpool win this weekend.
Arsenal draw.
We take the three points and move on to the next game.
Nothing more, nothing less.
