You can always lose away, regardless of how good you are.
Plus, we are joint top of the away table so we are doing good there.
Only 4th in the home table which is simply not good enough.
Palace at home will be the big killer, 2-0 up yet draw 2-2 in the latter mins. That and Spurs at home where we should have had the game won at half time.

Would much prefer an arsenal win on sunday, they look the most vulnerable out of the two. Liverpool look relentles, have the officials on their side, and have goals in them all over the pitch.

Agree re the Arse. Sadly at best a scoring draw.
We are doing better than last season after 21 games: 46 pts vs 45 pts.
And we have been without Kevin for 5-6 months, Stones 4-5 months, Haaland 2 months, Rodri missed 3 games through suspension, which we lost...The rumour that our summer transfers were bad is greatly exaggerated.
We are now on 4 consecutive wins in the league and 8 in all competitions. By the time we play at Anfield, we could be on 9-10 consecutive wins in the league (won't be easy, though!).
Think it will go to the wire.
If Arsenal beat Liverpool, they will challenge, too.

I feel like Liverpool are more capable than Arsenal to win the league, just because of Klopp. We need Arsenal to beat them.

We aren't gonna win EVERY game from now until the end of season either. Gonna be tough this, but I think they will get over the line first.

Over 60 years watching City…..hope for the best, expect the worse……we need to be at our absolute best to win the title this season………we seem to miss so many goal scoring opportunities….put a few more away and I’ll be more optimistic….

They effectively are 2 points clear of us if we win our game in hand.
A straight shoot out between us over the course of the next 17 or so games with us only having to make up two points and playing each other? I fancy us every day of the week.
apart from sunday they've got an easy run of games up until we meet early march.
Looking at the minute like a must not loose game for us at Anfield, although ideally we need to go there & win. something we've not managed since 03 i think

We did win 4-1 there in Feb '21 but I suppose the empty covid stadium had an effect in that one

True, won't be easy to match the points total from last season. But I expect that 85 pts will be enough. Liverpool will probably have a bad run at some point. And even if they don't, we can win 13 from the next 17 games and draw 3 from the other 4 games. That will take us to 88 pts.
