Defo not over yet but going forward play our best side till injury/suspension kicks in. Imo & I know people will have their idea of what our best side is and that's fine is...

Ortega till Ederson is available
Akanji
Dias
Stones
Ake
Rodri
Kovacic
De Bruyne
Grealish/Silva
Foden
Haaland/Alvarez

Not mithered who's upset at being left out just play the best side/formation and go for it, if it doesn't come off there's no shame in that we just need to stop putting the square pegs in round holes.
Rant over ha!

we will finish on 92 points, I am sure of it

It's impossible to finish on 92 pts. If we win all our games, we'll finish on 93 pts. If we draw one game and win the rest, we'll finish on 91 pts.

I think we'll draw 2-3 games: 87-89 pts. Imo, both Liverpool and Arsenal will drop more pts than us. The race won't be like that in 18-19.

91 sorry

think we will win 9 and draw 1

Position isn’t important right now. The points are all that matters and anyone giving up on a one point deficit with 30 to play for are cowardly as fuck.
There's a small but very vocal core of our fanbase that would prefer, season after season, the psychological security of saying we won't win to avoid the possibility of saying we have a chance and it hurting if we lose. Like you say, cowards. And getting to say "see, I knew 10 games ago we weren't going to do it" is a fucking lame "prize" to fall back on.

Grealish and Silva controlling from the wings, Foden and Kev allowed to roam in the middle.

It's impossible to play the same XI and the same formation mate. Take our next 3 league games: Arsenal, Villa and Palace over 6 days, with the Palace game being some 60 hours after the Villa game. Pep will have no choice but to rotate. He'll use the whole squad.

I think he won't start Alvarez vs Arsenal. Hopefully Grealish will be ready to start.

Julian Alvarez

Could someone with the adequate means to do so just check if a 55.6% pass accuracy is the lowest ever recorded in a single game by a starter for a Pep Guardiola side? Might be worth playing him either in the right position or not at all because this in-between thing isn’t really working.

Fair point, in the big games I.e. Arsenal/Villa/Champs League best side. Games like Palace/Luton/Forest he's gonna rotate.
Not giving up though, come on you blue bastards.

The Palace game time/date is an absolute pisstake. 3 games in 6 days is just completely ridiculous.

Very little room for error now, we need to beat Arsenal and hope the Dippers drop points at the Swamp. Personally, I think we will just come up short as those draws against Palace, Spurs and Chelsea (both home and away) will come back to haunt us.

Just how I see it

Are you guys excited to have a genuine 3 way title race ? Even if we (Arsenal) dont win it Im excited about the 3 way race. Must feel even better to win it knowing how close it all is.

Glad we’re in it but I would’ve preferred City to win at a canter and break 100 points, title races are stressful, I just hope Liverpool don’t win it!

I enjoy them. While it's nice to run away with it, the Kompany Leicester goal, Villa comeback, and Aguero(oooo) moments are three of the most enjoyable/memorable/adrenaline pumping moments of my life. Pipping that excellent Liverpool side by a point, and your decent Arsenal side last season, feels better when you're on the beach at the end of the season. I know a lot of City fans dread them, but it's what I'm thinking about when I turn up to see a turdgid 2-0 in freezing December. Football is entertainment and escapism and a catch-up with my Dad, for me, and not much else so bring on the storylines. Helps that we haven't lost one yet, too, mind.

I'd love love LOVE to win the league again this year but I think we have a stinker of a run in and it will be tough.

However it would also be nice to piss on the red shirts parade if one of them was to finally win the league in front of the crowds and we ended up winning back to back champions leagues.
