We’ve played a slower possession game compared to their faster game for 8 years with more success, all of a sudden because we are struggling at the moment it’s a problem and we should copy them ?

We were a fantasticly quick back-to-front team from 2017-18 up to as recently as 2021-22.

We've never played this slow, it's become a parody of how we used to play.

We used to zip the ball about and move the other team around.

Yes, then teams turned up with their deep set banks of 4 refusing to come out except on the break then we had to find other ways of moving them out. Thats changed a bit now as they think we are vulnerable.

No it doesn't. If anything you're suggesting that what we've won over 8 years is down to a slower possession game. Whilst that's been an important constituent of our style we've had many facets to our game that have contributed to our success.

They also have a an athletic midfield, strong tacklers and ball carries, we have the seven dwarves

Their midfielders/wingers scored as many in one game today, than ours have all season!! Ffs
